METHODOLOGY
Agile Development:
Agile software development refers to a group of software development methodologies based on iterative development. There are several agile development methods but common amongst them all are development iterations, teamwork, collaboration, and process adaptability throughout the life-cycle of the project.
Cerquit Solutions highly believes and practices this development methodology because Agile helps minimizes overall project risks, and allows projects to quickly adapt to unexpected changes. With the use of Agile, Cerquit team work together through each iterations which usually takes from one to four weeks only. Each iteration is worked on by a team through a full software development cycle including planning, requirements analysis, design, coding, unit testing, and acceptance testing.
SCRUM Defined:
Within a list of several Agile processes, Cerquit exercises SCRUM in developing and managing projects.
SCRUM is an iterative, incremental framework for developing any product or managing any work. It produces a potentially shippable set of functionalities at the end of every iteration.
SCRUM helps Cerquit’s software development become noticeably fast and flexible and at the same time maintaining superior quality, but never costly.
Cerquit’s benefits from using SCRUM:
• Increased overall team productivity
• Boosts team morale
• Can easily adapts to change in process
• Increased team member accountability
• Promotes team collaboration and cooperation
